The table deliberately includes the uncomfortable rows: Saldy runs no payment provider in production and therefore earns no money to this day, and Zeitflex took longer than planned to get from beta to sale. Nobody who actually runs these would have written an overview in which everything looks equally good.

Saldy — accounting software for freelancers, built without off-the-shelf parts

saldy.de is browser-based accounting for freelancers and small businesses: issue legally compliant invoices, generate e-invoices, pull in bank transactions, prepare VAT returns and the German cash-basis P&L. Live since the end of July 2026.

What matters is less what the software does than what it stands on. Saldy is not a WordPress install with plugins but a ground-up build with no content management system underneath.

E-invoicing to EN 16931 — XRechnung and ZUGFeRD, the formats German businesses have had to be able to receive since 2025.
Immutability enforced at database level — not as an application rule that can be bypassed, but inside PostgreSQL itself, gapless numbering included.
Receipt capture via OCR — text recognition with Tesseract and poppler-utils, so photographed receipts don’t get retyped.
Bank connection under PSD2 — transactions are fetched, not entered by hand.
Document archive with SHA-256 checksums — every file carries its own fingerprint, so changes show up.
Installable as an app — a progressive web app, running on a phone like a native one, without an app store.
Hosted at Hetzner in Germany, data processing agreement in place, no payment providers and no analytics in production.

The hardest part was not the interface. Accounting requires that a figure, once committed, can no longer disappear — not even through a bug in our own code. That is exactly why the rule lives in the database rather than in the application: the database says no even when the application would try. We apply the same thinking when we build a workflow for you in which amounts, deadlines or stock levels have to be right.

Dienstleistungen24 — a marketplace in live operation

dienstleistungen24.de is a two-sided marketplace: clients post jobs for free, companies create profiles and find work. It is the business that gives AXR-Systems its legal name, and it has been in live operation for over a year.

Scale, as of September 2026: over 5,000 registered providers and over 460 editorial pages and articles. We deliberately quote the figure we can count rather than a rounded marketing claim.

Two user sides with separate flows — clients and providers, each with their own accounts, views and notifications.
Search with map and multiple filters — by trade and location, reloading as the map moves, with provider comparison.
Recurring payments via Stripe — three membership tiers from €4.90 to €14.90 a month, self-managed by members.
Content at scale — city and trade pages, cost guides, a business directory and a magazine. Exactly the work that carries visibility over years.

What running it taught us: a platform with paying members forgives no silent failure. When a payment does not go through, a profile does not appear or a notification never arrives, nobody complains — people simply leave. So every critical flow has monitoring attached that tells us before the user notices. We set up the same monitoring for your workflows in our managed service; it is the actual content of the €49 in the basic tier.

Zeitflex — time tracking for small businesses, on sale since 2026

zeitflex.de is digital time tracking with payroll preparation for small businesses. The status is stated honestly: in operation and bookable since 2026 — Free stays free for a single user, above that from €1.49 per active employee per month with no base fee, billed through Stripe. The preview on the site still runs on sample data.

Clock in by PIN — through the phone app or a fixed terminal on site, syncing once there is a connection again.
Shift planning with conflict detection, plus holiday and absence requests with an approval flow.
Export to payroll — DATEV LODAS and DATEV Lohn und Gehalt, plus CSV and signed monthly PDF reports.
API keys for point-of-sale systems.

The hard part is the missing connection. On a building site or in a basement there is no network — clocking in still has to work, and the later sync must neither duplicate nor lose hours. That is the same class of problem as a workflow that starts in the evening while nobody is watching: it has to end correctly even when something fails halfway through.

We list Zeitflex here because it shows the whole path: first draft, beta on sample data, then sale with billing and support. That is the same path we walk with your project — except you get to see the intermediate states.

What we take from this into your project

Building and running three platforms is not an end in itself. These are the three lessons that go into every client project:

Rules belong where they cannot be bypassed. A check in the interface is convenience; a check in the database is reliability. For you that means approvals, numbering and deadlines are built so that a later bug cannot override them.
Running costs more attention than building. The interesting question is not whether something works on acceptance day, but who notices when it stops eight months later. That is why monitoring is not an add-on with us but the lowest tier of support.
Failure is the normal case, not the exception. Network gone, interface changed, file corrupted — anyone who first thinks about that at the first incident builds it twice. We plan for the failure cases and write down what happens in each.

Why this instead of client logos

We publish references with client names and figures only once those clients have agreed to publication. Until then we show what is publicly verifiable anyway: three platforms running under the same legal entity, with imprints, prices and features you can check yourself.

Frequently asked questions

Do these platforms really belong to AXR-Systems?

Saldy and Dienstleistungen24 carry the same legal entity, address and VAT identification number as AXR-Systems in their imprints — you can read that on each site. Zeitflex names the same company in its imprint, again for you to read on the site itself.

Would you build something like this for me?

At this depth: yes, but rarely. Most projects do not need a custom application, they need existing tools chained together — faster to finish and cheaper to maintain. What makes sense in your case is what we work out in the free first conversation, and we say no if the effort would not pay off.

Can I try the platforms?

What does this have to do with AI automation?

More than it looks. OCR receipt capture, bank reconciliation, detecting shift conflicts, enforcing gapless numbering — these are all tasks someone used to do by hand. The difference between a tool that saves time and one that merely moves the clicking around is decided exactly at those points.
